Something artistic about this photo. I don’t know exactly what, but it stirs up an urge to follow in flight. To chase whatever this dove is looking for.
I saw no others here, perhaps the fowl is searching for its mate…

I have been a member of ‘Deviant Art’ for about 4 years now, and although i am not as active as i once was, I enjoy visiting the site looking for new and inspiring photography.

I also put up some of my own photos, and surprisingly I have gotten the most interest with a photo that I took in the fall of 2003 that is not even close to one of my favorites. The title of the piece is ‘Pirates’, it is a photo taken at a girls Winterguard show, and it was what I considered a mistake, it was out of focus, and at a slow sync speed, so the image is quite motion blurred.

Well, my camera charger and replacement battery came yesterday, and so today i have some photos planned of Scarlette. When I get home today for my lunch break I will post some of them up here.

I rode down the hill today, nice day for a ride.

Tonight I am planning to go to Ludlow with Ami and Scarlette, I have to pick up a part for the car, and also I want to do some organizing in the Bus (maybe)

A ragged husk of what was once a Dandelion, The vignetting is intentional, I tried to give the impression that the wind was tearing the seeds away, if you look in the lower left you can see one leaving.

I have long been a fan of ‘Ken Rockwell’ (kenrockwell.com) His advice, and crtiques have immensly helped my photography. I was on his site today and read this article: How To Afford Anything

Everyone should read that! I mostly agree with his findings, but perhaps with the exception of always going dutch. If more people followed those suggestions, there would be less debt, and more success.

Some Cool Water to quench your thirst. This was shot with Nikon D-70, in an old park where they have these non-working fountains simply mounted on 4×4 poles. They are quite rustic looking.

Brooding and dark, these roses were lit only from behind through a red satin drop (this gives them the silhouette look.) I like the texture of the background (upper right) it looks like a rapid river of blood.

This Photo was taken with my trusty Nikon D70; hand-held with no flash, and rear ambient light. The borders and wording were done in Paint Shop Pro XI.

I took this photo a few months ago; ‘Aria’ (our little yorkie pup) was playing on the rug, and looking cute. So I chased her around with the camera to get this shot. As you can see, her ears are still floppy (now they are straight and rigid.)
