I have been thinking of someday starting a literary/action magazine, and though it has been on the back burner for so many years, I have finally started the ball rolling.
The venture will be called: “Lucidity Magazine” It will work in concert with the online site: www.luciditymagazine.com as well as have unique articles not found online.
The publication will start 1 January 2009, and will begin as a quarterly magazine, but with the hope that it will someday grow to monthly. The unique nature of this magazine from all others, is in the way it is written and compiled. Feeler letters will go out to all of the major colleges and universities all over the world with a call for submissions.
I hope to interest the thinkers of the world, and thereby to establish a global forum for the discussion of issues that have both global import, and those that are of such delicate nature that they can be aired no where else.
The site is now offline while I iron out some design issues, but please check back often.

Pretty flower on my way home from work. I like the red in it.
Sometimes there is exquisite beauty at our feet.

I had an hour this morning, and so I went to the Coffee Shop to get a little of it done, I have been working on a little project for some time, but haven’t really gotten very far. I pushed through today, and did get some progress in that area.
I have to devote enough of my time to these areas to make progress, as my goal is to advance on my own by 2010. I have started three businesses, and all of them have failed. I think that a large part of this is my lack of planning.
I won’t make the same mistake twice.

My pack is 35lbs, and that is even with the <2lbs subnotebook that I carry!!
I have too many of the oldfashioned paper notebooks, and other junk. I love my backpack, but when it gets that heavy, it is not enjoyable at all to carry around. I have to lighten up on all of the stuff that I am carrying.
I did a ‘Whats in your bag’ Meme a while back on flickr, but I must do it again, because that forces me to re-evaluate what I am actually carrying.

I have installed a spam catcher on this blog. I have been hoping to avoid it, but since there has been such a huge influx of spam, I feel that I no longer have much choice.
I have chosen a system that uses Javascript, and Cookies to fool the spambots!!

Picked up my bike this morning where I left it last night (@ Church) and then rode to Fresh Cup, where I replied to a few Emails, and did a little photo editing, @ about 10am, I headed off to work, which is where i am now.
I also picked up a new set of KOSS earbuds to replace the pair I had previously. (They broke within 2 weeks)
So now I am getting ready to head out and get some work done. I have my camera with me, and I hope to get some photos today. The rain has washed the world green.

It has been a little while since I posted a new photo of Scarlette, and so I thought it was a good time to for it now.

I don’t do well with little sleep. My brain starts to shut systems down, and I become little more than a Zombie.
I am finding that even if my sleep cycle is disrupted for a half-hour during the night, that it has the same effect as if I missed half the nights sleep. Last night Scarlette woke up about 2am, and even though we were only up for twenty minutes or so, I feel this morning as though I haven’t slept at all.
When I first woke up, Ami asked me to hand her the Pacifier on the nightstand. She might as well have been speaking French for all the sense that it made to me. I looked at her in a complete daze, and wondered what she just said. I had to mull it over, to figure out what she had meant.
When you are that tired, even your native language doesn’t make sense.
